Fellowships
2007 GAANN Fellowships selection process will begin March 15, 2007.
GAANN Fellowships are available to support students who pursue an interdisciplinary doctoral program in the area of sensing, identification, diagnostics and rehabilitation (SIDR) of structural systems.
Eligibility Requirements for SIDR GAANN Fellowships
- Admission/enrollment for graduate study at Northeastern University College of Engineering
- Merit and commitment for interdisciplinary doctoral study in the SIDR program
- Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States
- Have financial need as determined by data submitted on the applicant's FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Form
Procedure to be considered for SIDR GAANN Fellowships
- All applicants must complete a FAFSA Form available through the Department of Education. Applicants should also contact the Northeastern FInancial Aid Office to make sure all materials are in order.
- All applicants must submit the following materials for review by the GAANN Fellowship Program:
- GAANN Fellowship Application (rtf-file)
- Current Resume
- Students who have not applied to the Northeastern Graduate School of Engineering can accelerate the decision making process by sending the following materials directly to the GAANN Fellowship Program.
- All materials for (1 and 2)
- A minimum of two confidential letters of reference
- Transcripts for all undergraduate and graduate study
- GRE scores are strongly encouraged
