Opportunities for funding include:
- Graduate Research Assistantships funded by faculty with funds from research grants or centers
- Teaching Assistantships funded by individual departments
- Fellowships funded by the Department of Education Graduate Assistantships in Areas of National Need (GAANN)
Opportunity for Funding for 2006 - 2007 Academic Year
GAANN Fellowship Information: Fellowships to support students through doctoral study are available for the Fall 2006 semester through the US Department of Education program for Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need (GAANN). Requirements are that the students must be either a U. S. Citizen or permanent resident and demonstrate financial need for doctoral studies. U. S. Citizens & permanent residents are invited to apply for a GAANN Fellowship.
